Deacon

With 35 years of expertise to draw upon, DEACON was ready for a state-of-the-art responsive website that highlighted their deep portfolio and elevated their core values.

DEACON came to us for a complete overhaul of their website. They were operating with a sorely outdated site that had not been updated in nearly two years due to limited accessibility. Along with a whole new modern, responsive design and back-end CMS, we also led their leadership team through internal exercises to hone their values, expertise, services and high-level messaging.

Wireframes Illustrate Functionality

Once we presented and agreed upon the new site architecture, we quickly moved to wireframes to illustrate functionality. Displaying their portfolio depth with simple, but powerful, navigation multiplied the amount of content that could be displayed while keeping the interface clean and simple. Our goal was to employ “easy-in, easy-out” navigation to offer layers of discovery with minimal clicks.

From Icons to Messaging to User Experience

Along with our programming partners at Cast Iron Coding, we built a responsive website that establishes a digital identity for Deacon through impactful visual design, curated messaging, rich media (video/social media/animated navigation) and creates a compelling end-user experience (UX).

A Showcase of Talent

The overall goal was to showcase individual and team talent, and unite geographical locations—yet respect localization, elevate business capabilities and case studies, and integrate relevant social media streams to effectively communicate the story and differentiators unique to Deacon Corp.

Contemporary and Agile

The result is a contemporary and agile website that showcases their company culture, highlights case studies and identifies their unique core competencies and differentiators. We realized their business goal of establishing their online presence by unifying their five locations and elevating Deacon’s 35+ year reputation as builders among their key audiences.
